Andrew Newton has sold out major theatres in the UK, regularly getting audiences of over 2,500, including record breaking runs at the Royal Court Theatre, Liverpool and the world famous Leeds City Varieties. He was the first Hypnotist to appear in London’s West End and the first on television in the UK. 

He has hypnotised over 60,000 people and has more than 6,000 stage and television performances under his belt. He regularly tours New Zealand, Australia, and South Africa. He performed for three months in Las Vegas, and has also performed in Hong Kong, Singapore, China, India, Sweden and Norway. He is in great demand as a lecturer and trainer. He is a specialist in the nature of suggestion, hypnosis, group behaviour, and hypnosis in religion and does occasional pro bono work with people who have been indoctrinated by religious cults. He also trained Paul McKenna.

Andrew is Principal lecturer in Hypnosis at the Hypnoseakademiet in Norway, Europe’s premier Hypnosis and EFT training school. Most recently he has lectured in Hypnosis at Indian Institutes of Technology, at universities in Delhi, Jodhpur, Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda and Bits Pilani University in Goa. 

Andrew has worked in Clinical Hypnotherapy in Harley Street and is an Associate Member of the Royal Society of Medicine. He has been a member of the International Police Association since 2005. He also holds a Pilot’s Licence and once flew a single engined light aircraft from Manchester to Nairobi and back.
